Umpires - Both teams split fees. $120 total (we pay $60) for one, $80/umpire (we pay one umpire) for two.
If a game is cancelled at the field by the home team before the first pitch and umpires are present, they will each be owed $12 from the home team.
If a game fails to complete three innings of play, each umpire will receive $30.
60'6" mound. 90' bases.
Regulation game - 7 innings max, and no inning starts after 2h15m time limit.
Mercy rule - 12 after 4, 10 after 5.
Weather interference - Complete game after 4 full innings played, or home team has same/greater runs after top of 3rd.
Batters - 9 or 10 (additional hitter) and DH (per HS rules) is allowed. 8 players minimum needed to start game.
Pitchers - 125 pitch limit, 31-50 is 1 day rest, 51-75 is 2 days rest, 76-125 is 3 days rest.
Balks - No warnings.
Mound visits - 3 per game. 1 extra if go into extra innings.
Courtesy runners - Allowed for pitcher and catcher, but must not be a player in the lineup.
Balls - Both teams supply two Rawlings league baseballs with "Bees" written on them.
Bats - Must be USSSA 1.15 BPF certified with max drop -5.
Cleats - May be metal, but will not be allowed on turf (we will play on turf).
Scores - OPL gets scores from GameChanger.
Postponing games:
Notify umpire association, BTBA, opponent coach, and John Mengelkamp (OPL).
Update GameChanger, schedule spreadsheet.

Meg schedules initial home games, and we are responsible for rescheduling for any changes in our schedule.
Be sure to call and cancel for rainouts and changes, or else we pay if umpires show up.
If there is one pitch thrown, then it is half game fee.
If you play 3 complete innings, then it is a full game fee.
Umpires are paid in full at the start of the game, and coach must ask for half back if weather causes the game to be less than 3 complete innings.
For OPL rainouts, must email or text John Mengelkamp to inform him.

Balls - The home team supplies at least two CVBA-approved baseballs, currently Rawlings ROLB1 with "Bees C" written on them.
Bats - Must be USSSA 1.15 BPF certified. Next year, 14U will also require max drop -5 and barrel diameter <= 2¾".
Scores - Winning team must report the score on the league website within 48 hours.
